A little about me - as a photographer.

My entire concept for my business is that I want to be the personal photographer that families can afford! Amazing memories captured at an amazing price - simple as that.

I remember going to a "big chain" photographer when my daughter was a baby. Like so many, I went there because I couldn't afford the amazing photographers that cost a small fortune. When my son was born in 2005 I went to one of those places ONE time and never looked back! I had a great camera and my pictures were so much better! 

Therefore, I spent time learning even more, and over that time have invested in the best equipment.  I continue to learn and experiment with new and different ideas and technologies.  And I take joy in passing that knowledge and artistic flair onto my customers when I capture their special moments.

In the last couple of years the business has grown so fast! My favorite part of my job now is watching kids grow up. Each year I'm taking pictures of toddlers that were babies the previous year. Such a pleasure!

SoccerTots, HoopsterTots, and First Holy Communion and so much more!

Throughout the year I take pictures in many different environments.  I work with the SoccerTots and HoopsterTots program as well as with churches and childcare facilities! This is a great service that you can offer to the parents and clients.  Call for more details!

I do event photography on occasion, as well!  Weddings, birthday parties, etc

Session Pricing and Information

Regular Session: $175
For that you are entitled to the following: 1 - 1.5 hours on location for ONE family, photo editing, artistic enhancements when appropriate, and a complete set of CDs from your session with permission to print. Yes, you read that right! There is no print order required. In todays world many people are computer savvy enough to handle cropping for print, uploading, and ordering prints at the printer of their choosing, or even printing at home.

If you are not confident that you can manage the printing on your own - my prices for that service are also extremely reasonable and are listed below the Special Packages.

Special Session Packages:

The Newborn in my Studio OR at your own home!!!

Session Fee is $175 and includes full resolution DVD

A newborn session should be planned for within 2 weeks of birth. You can schedule it with a best guess based on your due date, and then we can change it if necessary. It is better if we do these during the week, therefore my schedule is more opened and flexible. Newborn sessions take time and patience! So, we relax, take our time, and don't stress. I schedule infant sessions starting at 10am to ensure that we are done before school is over. And, yes, these sessions do usually take a few hours because rushing just doesn't work!

A newborn session is not a family session. Of course, we will take photos with mom and dad, but it really is best to focus on the baby and capture the newborn state of being. Siblings may join in for a few minutes, but they will be pictured with the baby. And, if the siblings are toddlers, I suggest they join us at the very beginning and at the very end for just a few shots. Otherwise, this is a great time to call Grandma and Grandpa for a lunchdate!

I will also design a beautiful birth announcement for you using one or more of the photos taken at the session.

Maternity and Newborn Combo:  $250
Includes the newborn session (see description above) and a session for maternity portraits.  You can choose to either take maternity photos in the studio or on location.  Maternity portraits are best taken around 30 - 32 weeks of pregnancy.  Depending on your own opinion of your body you can choose another time, but, in general that is the case.  Husbands and children are encouraged to join in the session, as well!  These sessions will last 30 - 45 minutes.  Clothing changes are welcomed.

Baby's First Year: $500
Includes 4 sessions from 3 months to 12 months of age. Typically at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months. Also included: CDs from each of the sessions and an 11x14 collage suitable for framing from each session. Also, 10 percent off of any print package. Each session will last about 30 - 45 minutes unless I feel that we need to take longer. Adding an additional child will only cost $40 per session. The earlier sessions will be best in the studio. On location is available once they are sitting up well!

One Year Family: $325
Includes: 2 sessions in one year, CDs from each, a printed collage suitable for framing from each, and a 10 percent discount on any print package with each shoot. These sessions are each just like a regular session. You can choose the studio or on location.

The Senior Package: $250

This is the same as the regular session, and comes with TONS of prints!
